The Biggest Motor Bikes and Food Fest happened again. Here are all the highlights that made it a blast.
On Sunday, August 18th, thousands of people from around the world converged at the Muri Okunola Park Lagos in attendance at Africa’s biggest Motorbikes and Food Fest, Jollof and Palmie 6.0.
The event is an annual event organized by Bikers with Attitude and Determination Nigeria aka B.A.D Gang Nigeria aimed at creating a fun and exhilarating atmosphere where everyone connects over bikes, giving non-riders a chance to explore the motorcycle community, experience different bikes, and learn the basics of riding.
Jollof and Palmie 6.0 started its activities at noon. On arrival, you can feel the excitement and energy almost lifting you off the ground. Entry and ticketing were well coordinated and made entrance very smooth.
The environment maintained the same electrifying feel. From the decoration to the eye-catching Transformer figures, to the invigorating sound of the motorbikes revving.
One attendee commented;
“Never in my life have I been so close to power bikes. I’ve only seen them from afar and in movies. The noise from them and the feeling gave me joy. The vibes in the atmosphere were a 10/10!”
The Jollof exceeded all expectations. If there were a contest, the Jollof would be crowned the King of Jollof! The Palm Wine was incredibly refreshing, washing down the heavenly Jollof perfectly.
The event featured a diverse array of delicious foods from vendors including native spaghetti, shawarma, grilled turkey, and other local delicacies, adding to the vibrant and flavorful experience.
The energy seamlessly transitioned into the entertainment, starting with the thrilling Bike Showcase. Bikers from across Africa proudly displayed their machines, featuring brands like Yamaha, BMW, Honda, and more.
DJs Naet and DJ Markiss kept everyone on their feet with their incredible mixes, creating an infectious energy. The event was bursting with color, as creatives, personalities, and guests soaked in the vibrant atmosphere, all while enjoying electrifying performances by artists from across the country. The highlight of the night was a surprise performance by Ladipoe, which sent the energy levels soaring, making the event even more unforgettable.
Activities like tug of war, dance competitions, and several other games kept attendees fully engaged throughout the event.
Speaking about the experience an attendee said;
“I was at last year’s fest and this time I came with another friend and they were just too excited they didn’t want to go home. And I must say this year’s fest was better than last year’s. I enjoyed it and can’t wait for next year’s because I’m pulling up with more friends.”

“It was an amazing experience and now I understand why there were so many people. From the bikers to the food, the vibrant crowd, and the surprise performance by Ladipoe, I was beyond impressed and will definitely be attending again!”
